Privacy Policy

Richable (richable.co) is a Filipino personal finance publication. We keep data collection to what we need to run the site, improve it, and provide our Money Tools. This page explains what we collect and why, in plain language, consistent with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).

What we collect

Account information. If you sign in (with Google or email and password), we store your email address and basic profile information so we can operate your account, credits, and tool usage history. Authentication and data storage are handled by Supabase.

Money Tools files. Files you upload to tools like the bank statement converter are processed in memory to produce your result and are not stored. We log only that a conversion happened (file name, size, and outcome) to operate the credit system and prevent abuse. Payment proof screenshots you submit are stored privately and reviewed only to confirm your payment.

Spending Tracker data. If you choose to press "Save to Tracker," the parsed transactions from that statement (date, description, amount, category) are stored in your account so the Spending Tracker can show your dashboards. The uploaded file itself is never stored. You can delete saved transactions anytime from the Tracker page, and deleting your account removes them permanently.

Analytics. We use PostHog to understand how the site is used — pages visited, buttons clicked, approximate location (from IP address), device type, and page performance. Analytics does not capture what you type into forms or the contents of files you upload. We use this data in aggregate to improve articles and tools.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your uploaded financial documents for anything other than producing your requested result. We do not send you email unless you subscribed or it concerns your account.

Third-party services

The site runs on Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and authentication), Google (sign-in and AI processing of uploaded statements via the Gemini API), and PostHog (analytics). Each processes data on our behalf under their respective data protection agreements. Some of these services store data outside the Philippines.

Your choices

You may request a copy or deletion of your account data by emailing us. Standard browser tools (content blockers, private browsing) will prevent analytics collection, and the site works fine with them enabled.
